Dear
All,
DDA
has started working on the mobility plan for the development of sectors under
Land Pooling. The process has started the process of floating tender to
identify the consultant/ firm for the same.
The mobility plan will help connect these to-be-developed sectors with the existing infrastructure. Per the DDA’s RPF (Request for Proposal), the consultant would be responsible for preparing a detailed project report for the transport network and transportation system. This will also be comprised of designing/planning of roads, sewers, bus stops, metro stations, etc.
We met with DDA officials at Land Pooling Office for the Commissioner, Pitampura, on the 5th of October, but were told that the existing commissioner will soon be replaced with a new one. Though we discussed on various technical aspects of the policy but will need to go back again once the new Commissioner (Land Pooling) joins the rank.
Also, we have requested the landowner’s from some of the Sectors of the P2 zone, including ours, to write frequent letters, to DDA officials and LG’s office, seeking status on the progress being made on their side for providing approval to the qualified sectors and to initiate consortium process. The purpose of this exercise is to create pressure on the authority to expedite the process.
We
are also trying to meet some governmental representative(s) from the DDA’s
panel to discuss our concerns.
Please
feel free to revert, if any of you have a suggestion in this regard.
