29 Nov: We had a one-on-one meeting with the DDA’s Additional Commissioner (Planning), Mr. N. R. Aravind, on the 29th of November. In an hour-long meeting, we discussed on various aspects of the policy implementation. Though the majority of our discussion revolved around the steps to be taken to form consortium which is a mandatory and also the most critical step in getting policy implemented on the ground. He was informed that we have started working on a draft for Consortium registration and will present it before them after getting it reviewed by our Company Secretary and the Legal team. It was agreed that we would have more detailed discussions as the work on the consortium formation would proceed.
05 Dec: We had a meeting with the landowners of our Sector 7 of P2 zone on Sunday, 05 December (Please refer to the attached pic). The meeting was to get them ready for the next step in the policy implementation, i.e., the Consortium formation. We provided them with a document to be signed by all the landowners of the Sector as consent to form the consortium. Village elders showed great enthusiasm and assured to work aggressively to get everyone’s consent on the same.
06 Dec: An online Webex meeting was conducted by DDA officials which was chaired by Sh. Amrish Kumar, Director (Land Pooling), and was attended by other senior DDA officials to cater to the concerns of stakeholders in Land Pooling. This is being seen as a trust-building exercise being carried out by the DDA officials with a message that now they are going to get the policy implemented on the ground. It was informed that more such meetings would be done on monthly basis and also in-person meetings would be taken up with the stakeholders to work on technical points.
Besides, GIS markers are being established throughout the sectors (Please refer to the attached pic) of all the zones which will help the DDA with land mapping and planning.
