Below are the updates as of today:
Per discussion with us, DDA conducted a series of meetings in the villages to discuss the SOP for taking things forward and raising the landowners’ awareness and trust.
The consortium formation modalities, the External development charge issue, land sub-division, and the ground-level implementation of the policy were discussed at these public meetings.
Also, per our suggestion, DDA officials surveyed the villages to put DDA boards/hoardings declaring these lands to be a part of the DDA’s Land Pooling. The areas were identified and DDA would soon start their installation in phases.
Per the latest reports, the work on UER-II (Ring Road-3), which forms the north side boundary of our sector, is expected to get completed by August, next year.
DDA is working on the consolidation for the release of the next set of sectors. It is expected to get completed soon. As has been informed earlier, our sector is part of this list.
Our team is also working on creating the website for our sector. This website will be at the core of implementing the SOP for consortium formation, land re-distribution etc.
LG, Mr Vinai Kumar Saxena, chaired a meeting of DDA’s revenue department on the 27th of July and directed them to expedite work on the formation of SOP for implementation of the policy and have asked to apprise him of the action taken on this within 3 days.
